Airborne tactiX

Airborne tactiX

Tactical Mission System for Airborne Network Centric Operations (NCO)

TactiX combines a tactical mission system with an instant airborne net-centric system capable of communicating between moving platforms (i.e. helicopters, aircraft, troop carriers, UAVs, sensors, ground troops and ground armored vehicles) and functioning at flight velocities while transmitting video/data/voice at up to 40Mbps between platforms. TactiX is a robust network-based mission system that maintains continuous link between the network members, even in non-line-of-sight (N-LOS) situations, through ad-hoc/mesh technology. The system also allows for a cross platform solution enabling the connection of land, air and navy mobile units and platforms for joint operation missions. TactiX is an advanced net-centric warfare system specially designed and built by pilots for pilots.

The TactiX system is comprised of a MAGIC (Military and Avionic Graphic Enhanced Integrated Computer) Computer, Display Unit, and an advanced Instant Wireless Network Radio IP unit. Together these three units optimize resource management for critical missions, allowing air crews quick and effective access to data and video information available on the network and the ability to share that information in real-time. Combining a digital 2D/3D map-based tactical solution with a sophisticated integrated broadband communications system improves the pilot’s situational awareness, reducing workload and aiding successful combat decision-making in real-time.

The TactiX System's Key Advantages
Intuitive 3D situational awareness view of all available mission information,
synchronized and in real-time, which supports effective combat decision
   making and reduces pilot’s workload
Based on open standards for easy interface and integration within any
   airborne platform or C4I system
Establishes an instant network in the air anywhere with very
   high-bandwidth/throughput
Allows broadband quality information sharing between aircraft, helicopters,
ground forces, sensors, UAVs and UGVs and central command
Flexible and robust communication with ad-hoc/mesh capabilities with
operation in N-LOS conditions and at high speeds, up to 800KMph
